Battery Enclosures
For use with all of our RNPS-E-W Series autonomous, wireless electronics enclosures. The enclosures are all low voltage DC (12-24VDC) and require power cabling for transfer of power to electronics enclosures. The “b” series of enclosures are watertight and are matched to bolt directly to a buoy or be deployed on the sea floor. The RNPS-B24 Series of battery enclosures are sized in watt-hours and all come It comes with a high ampacity 2-pin Bulkhead, which supplies power to the electronics enclosure with power cable. Always ensure that you size the battery storage for your project to prevent battery drain below 50% of capacity. A VITB team member can assist you in selecting the appropriate battery storage system and accompanying RNPS-E-W Series of electronics and solar for your project.

The RNPS-B24-2500 is our smallest battery enclosure, which is designed to be used with one or two camera systems and one low powered light.

The RNPS-24-5000 is our medium sized battery enclosure. It is designed to support up to two camera systems, high powered lighting systems, and other small load resources such as science nodes, probes, etc.
